About Barry Eaton

Barry Eaton is an Australian radio and TV presenter who worked for various stations in his long and varied career. During the late 1970s he hosted and produced “Showtime” on ABC Radio which was very popular with audiences. Originally trained as an actor he delighted in bringing the best of show music to a radio audience and is now producing the 21st Century version of this show.

Barry still works as a radio presenter, writer and freelance voice actor. His other program RadioOutThere.com has been online since 2003 and explores all avenues of mind, body & spirit and enjoys a global audience

The aim of reintroducing “Showtime” is to inspire everyone to move beyond their everyday situation to enjoy, relive or perhaps even discover the sheer entertainment of theatre and film music created over many decades.
